Helle Hansen founded Minetum Consulting while still in business school pursing her MBA at the University of Tampa. Based on an unique business model she was selected to participate in the Accelerator program at the University of Tampa, Lowth Entrepreneurship center. An opportunity she couldn’t resist, though taking an MBA at the same time in the United States is quit challenging but a challenge that only gave her more motivation to move forward with her passion.
Why taking a step out of your comfort zone can be so rewarding
In 2017 when Helle decided to travel to the United States from Denmark to follow her many years dream of pursuing an MBA, she was moving out of her comfort zone to make that happen. One thing is to have a goal but to actually take the necessary steps to progress is one of the biggest challenges Helle has faced. In the end it paid off and she graduated earlier this year from the MBA program and is now running Minetum Consulting full time in Florida.
What Helle really likes about running her own business is that the successes (and failures) are yours. What you put into it, you get out of it. You get to be the master of your own destiny and the company’s path to growth.
Helle is fueled by her passion to encourage individuals to pursue personal growth. She considers herself a ‘lifelong learner’, eager to build on her academic foundation in business administration and market research to motivate others achieving their goals through professional development.
According to Helle, the will to growth and desire to succeed only happens when you take the steps out of your comfort zone – the day you realize the magic only happens out of your comfort zone, you’ll start to win the day.
