Participating in The University of Tampa’s Internship Fair

What is your story? What is your passion? What is your elevator pitch? What is it that makes you stand out? Make sure you have something to tell in a short amount of time.

This past Thursday, Minetum Consulting tabled at The University of Tampa’s Internship Fair for their students. We met and talked with so many students who were interested in finding internships that fit their field of interests. This was a great experience for the students to get their feet wet in the working world, because the sooner you get an internship the better. It will only benefit you in the long run.

Minetum’s two interns, Daniela and Clelia, helped at this event by talking with the interested students, and gave their personal experience being interns themselves. Clelia shared that, “Being a sophomore and starting this internship has taught me so much already. I am so grateful to be getting this experience so early on and working with a great team. As I was talking to students at the fair, I shared my great experience with Minetum and how important I think it is to have a passion and be determined to follow your dreams the sooner the better, because that will get you ahead of the game.”

Putting yourself out there is very important in the business world. Networking and having that drive of passion is what will get you far. Minetum’s CEO and Founder, Helle Hansen, added, “It was our second time participating in the Internship Fair at The University of Tampa, and we are very grateful for the opportunity to connect with the students at UT. Attending a career fair is a great way to quickly connect with multiple students and we always encourage students to come and talk to us. The students who leave great impressions are the ones showing interest in the company and the ones expressing their passion and ‘why’ in an authentic way.”
