Get ahead of the curve and meet your company’s goals
In the current digital age, there is a growing pace of strategic change driven by disruption of industries. As a result, efforts for organizational development are becoming more frequent and pervasive – with most organizations having experienced changes within the past three years.
However, many of these organizational development efforts are not successful. Most organizations lack the best practice know-how to guide them through these transformations effectively.
Through the Organizational Development program we help you implement best practices so that you are ahead of the curve and can meet your business goals.
The Organizational Development program extends over one to six months, depending on the assignment and the size of the organization we are working with. The program will help change the organization from its present state to a future state aligning the organization with the company’s strategy.
Objectives
To implement an organizational development process that ensures that we build an organizational structure (The Implementing Organization) that matches the company’s strategies and objectives.
To change values, norms, and organizational structures so that the organization better adapt to new technology, new markets, and new challenges in the environment.
The Process
We conduct organizational analysis to clarify the individual responsibilities and duties of function area.
We brainstorm across all work areas and responsibilities so that the function area can solve its task thoroughly and to maximum capacity – thus achieve its share of the company’s goals and strategy.
The Process includes 4 Phases:
1. Preparation of Function Distribution Plans
The Function Distribution Plan is a tool that can be used during all stages of organizational change. It provides a nuanced description of the tasks assigned to each function, department, and/ or employee.
2. Preparation of Job Descriptions
The Job Description is the expression of the highest degree of detail in the description of the organizational structure. The information that has been omitted in the brief job description in the function distribution plans is included in the job description.
3. Preparation of Organizational Plans
The Organizational Plan is the simplest and most nuanced form of organizational description. It is an excellent tool because it clearly provides a quick overview of the organization’s structure.
4. Organizational Development Seminars
To conclude the Organizational Development process, a one-day seminar for each functional area is conducted. The aim is to create a common foundation among the employees by understanding the organization structure and by developing a set of values that will be used during the future collaboration and solution of common tasks.
