The Learning Brain

The human brain is a fascinated element and is the command center for the nervous system, yet we experience that our memory is very different from person to person. Some people enjoy graphical memory, while others struggle to remember large amounts of information at once.   
We live in a world where we are constantly confronted with new knowledge and technology which we need to relate to and store in our brain so that we can retrieve it whenever it becomes necessary. Nevertheless, we often find that memory does not come naturally why we need to spend valuable time recalling the lack of knowledge.

At this informative and thoughtful training day, you will become wiser on our incredible and dynamic body of mind – the brain. You will get a thorough introduction to the complexity of the brain and its many indispensable functionalities. You will learn about the relationship between our marvelous nature, the body, and the brain and how to keep the body’s main body young by training its elasticity (neuroplasticity).

The training day will be inspiring and you will learn why the brain can and should be trained and, in particular, how you will be able to increase your memory, your ability to learn and, above all, improve your career achievements. You will be presented with a number of concrete techniques and simple exercises that will make you better at utilizing the center of your memory, making your everyday life more productive.

The day starts with an introduction to how the brain works and what we know about the brain and its function. The focus will be on the storage of information and new learning.

In this presentation we look at how to ensure great learning on the minds of the brain. The following important factors for learning are reviewed:
– Diffusion (flow)
– Confidence and positive feelings – Active learning
– Meaningful learning
– Repetitive learning

We live in a time with constant changes in both our private and working life. Therefore, even more than ever before, we need to learn qualities that we can adapt to new situations.
As our work memory limits this goal, it is important that we know the biological, mental, and social architecture of learning. You will learn how to compensate for the limitations of work memory and why cooperative learning provides new opportunities when the task becomes complex.
